I came to the Aladdin section looking for a specific plot, and the first thing I did was filter the stories to find the most popular one. This was not the plot I was looking for. But it's well-written, of a good length, well thought-out, and ends perfectly. It is of no surprise whatsoever that this is the highest ranked story in the Aladdin fandom.
