I agree with you. I've always felt like there was something missing from their reunion. It was as if nothing had happened at all, which is probably what Yugi wanted.

I love how Yami wants Yugi to forgive him but at the same time, he knows he doesn't deserve it. It was so sweet how Yugi comforts him for once.

Very well written. In the beginning, when the puzzle was being put together, I was almost rooting for Atem to escape. :D

Oh my...That was beautiful! I try not to read a lot of fics that deal with major changes in episodes, but like everyone else, I think the reunion between Yami and Yuugi in Ep. 182 could have gone soo much better. Yours is probably the best one I've read so far. You captured Yami's emotions perfectly - the guilt, the feeling of inadequacy. And of course, Yuugi's forgiving nature...even though he doesn't come out and say it, you just know he forgives him. I kinda skimmed over your other fic "Relief" earlier, but now I think I will go back and read it more thoroughly. )

I read this story ages ago, but did not have an account at the time so favouriting was not an available option. I loved it so much that I kept in on my hard drive though, and I am so thankful I found it again!

This is a beautiful rendition of their reunion, which I completely agree could have been done so much better. Hmpf, silly males and their inability to express affection. I guess that's what we fanfic writers are here for.

This Yami POV is sooo deep! I almost cried during the middle. It kinda hurts me to hear him berating himself and calling himself a coward. Good job and keep up the good work.
