It’s pretty difficult to find decent J/B five around here, so when I clicked on this one I wasn’t expecting much. What I got was not just decent but INCREDIBLE. Your realistic portrayals of Jake and Bella, the description, the flow of the story were all amazing and believable. I love this so much!

A reasonable, realistic way it could've gone. I wish it had; this is a beautiful kind of painful, full of hope and letting go of the beloved, familiar pain. I loved Bella's self-awareness and her explanation of the effect Edward and their relationship had on her - 100 points to the Hogwarts House of your preference!

I'm re-reading this, years later, and it still feels like one of the best Twilight stories. It doesn't give me that "Oh, yes!" feeling anymore, like it did when the original story was actually unfolding, but I do enjoy it. Still.

I've read so many of the "Bella running from the wedding at the eleventh hour", this was one of the best!

Woah! Woah! Great heat here. Just that capturing of despair and sadness and making mistakes and finally having to face them. Beautiful. It didn't feel melodramatic at all to imagine the keen pain of watching that imaginary, beautiful life running away.

Edward is a part of Bella? Were that even true he would be the absolute worst part of her. Nothing that Bella sees in Eddie is WHO he is but how he looks and what he can give her. Bellas cowardice sees a life with Edward tyhat will have no risk, no pain no fear of abandonment. Edwards vampire nature will make him stay forever (and in fact may be what compels Bella to stay around when he treats her like a little doggie) while Jake might leave or not love her anymore. THAT is what Bella needs, something life can never give - guarantees.

Can I puke now? I didnt get it.. First Jake is a bit of a fool, no doubt. This much of a fool, gonna watch Bella throw everybody (including herself) under the bus for a pale,pasty, skinny, scrawny reanimated sack of rotting meat? Dont think so. Why cant we ever have a story where Jake basically tells Bella to eat shit and fuck off? That would be the kind of tale almost every body could love.

I know I say the same thing every time I review one of your stories but I mean it every time and know no other way to say it. Beautiful. So sweet. So tender. You have such an amazing talent. You articulate such complicated, overwhelming emotion. I don't know what you do in your everyday life but you should keep writing. You have so much to share and such a wonderful way of sharing it. Thank you for that sharing. For a moment everything falls away except the world you've allowed us to glimpse.
