I guess there will be no next installment. That said, this story is great. Very heart wrenching and warming at the same time. The ending was happy and sad.

You said to "watch out for the sequel" but it's been 7 years, and still no sequel in sight. This makes me really depressed. I need to know what happens to Yuu Kanda now. Please write a sequel for all of us. You'll have me reduced to begging.

It's really impressive. YOU are impressive.
I never thought I'd like a pairing outside of Laviyuu (or Yullen), much less one with a character not part of DGM. But the way you wrote about KanamexKanda is really good. As i mentioned in my previews reviews, i haven't read Vampire Knight (nor do i think i ever will) but the way you merged the two worlds is seamless (at least according to my limited knowledge).

With that said, i'll be looking forward to the Sequel! And I do hope you'd find the time to start it soon. :)

I haven't read Vampire Knight so I'm not really familiar with the characters besides from their names and faces (thanks to Google) and your own descriptions. But i already like this Aido guy! I can't say the same for Yuki though. I guess i share Kanda's opinion of prefering a tree (or maybe even a rock) over her.

So far, i love your work! Despite not being familiar with VK, i have no trouble following your plot. Moreover, you managed to keep the characters (at least those from dgm, because i don't know those from VK) in character, or at least as much as they can be in a yaoi fanfic.
