I can't believe I haven't reviewed this one yet. I've read it several times now and can't tell you how much I love it... okay, here I am trying to tell you how much but you know what I mean! It's one of the finest Mexico hiatus fics out there - and so true to their characters, and the angst is especially realistic. You have Abby's reactions to him continually abandoning her spot on, as well as Gibbs' indecision. A quite superb piece of writing - thanks for sharing it.

What took me so long to read this? I do not know. I do know that I loved it. I can actually see Abby going down there to check out he was doing. 'Cause, come on! Abby wouldn't just let it go! Your characterizations of Abby and her reactions were spot on. I think how you had her hold on all stubborn and in love with him was great, and then the pain and anger she had when she let him go was intense. Loved this!

I loved this story and added it my favorites. I even liked that it was PG-13. You did an excellent job writing those scenes. Great story!

I LOVED this! I cried, I smiled, I cried some more... you write them so well and it felt so much like canon to me that I can't believe this isn't what actually happened on the show.
