I can't believe it. I read your warning but ignored it because I like sad things. But Jesus Christ, I was definitely NOT expecting that. It's because all of the he "is"s in there. But I understand, it's what House's writing.

Wilson is a sneaky person, and I'm glad House is noticing it in this fic, and how it relates to his love for puzzles. I also love how House is the only one who realizes how much of a liar he really is.

The writing from "Slowly, tired blue eyes" to "Fin" at the end was brilliant. I'm glad you didn't make it so obvious that I would have guessed it, I haven't been that surprised in a long time. Love it love it love it. Very original.
