I was honestly disappointed when Zoey chose Chase. Don't hate me for this, but I liked Zoey/James better than Zoey/Chase even though I knew Zoey was supposed to be with Chase. I really do not like Chase. James and Zoey were soooo cute together!

I liked the closure...poor James. I thought he was okay...but...anyway...see the entire time during Chasing Zoey I thought James was going to come out of nowhere during the kiss and say something, but he never came. I was like what? But whatever this is well written. and poor James. Very well written.

Hey! I really liked this story - especially because I stumbled upon this in the midst of writing my own James-reflecting-on-Zoey-and-Chase story, ironically enough. I totally agree with you; James is a good guy, and though I didn't like hime with Zoey, I feel bad for him. And I agree with your theme of the story: the James was just a replacement for Chase!

I totally agree with you. I thought James overall was a great character and a great addition to the show. Minus the part with Zoey, but whatevs. I had Choey on my mind the whole time.

This...was beautiful. I hated how we never saw James after that, it kind of pissed me off. At least some closure, like this. This probably would have been the best idea for James' closing to the show.

Anyways, I thought it was gorgeous. If a piece of writing can be gorgeous that is... ]. You deserve a spot on my favourite authors. Yay!

I too liked James. I thought he was a good guy, funny, and not to mention, rather cute. I liked his character on the show. and I actually didn't mind him dating Zoey, which is incredibly weird because I ship Chase/Zoey so hardcore. but I think I was just okay with them dating because deep down I knew that it was going to be Chase&Zoey in the end, so James/Zoey didn't bother me too much.

And I felt really bad for him in Chasing Zoey. especially when he gave Zoey the necklace, and she was just kinda like bleh. I mean, I got over it pretty quick, because HEL-LO, Chase&Zoey! haha. but still. I did feel really bad for James.

but really though. James was a good guy, and I liked him. you did him justice with this fic. very good job, I loved it a lot. seriously. :]

Yes, I thought it was strange how he just disappeared, too, not coming to the prom, meeting Chase, or anything! Pooh.

Anyway, I'm profusely glad the couples finally got to be together, especially the two that were kept apart (Chase/Zoey and Quinn/Logan)!
