For a first attempt at a real fafic, this is excellent. I never would have thought it was your first. Honestly, this is much better than many of the ones I have read... and I have read hundreds of fanfics over 8 years.

Adain really well done and at the risk of repeating myself I will simply say that I really enjoyed this even though its not so much a happy tale as one that shows alot of emotion and family love.

Actually, I believe you did an extremely wonderful job in describing how Ginny felt during Harry's absence. It is something to think about when your husband is an Auror and when events like that happen. I loved that the characters have matured and we could relate to the feelings described.
