What a beautiful beautiful fic! Like many other reviewers, I was crying for the last paragraphs 0 such wonderful honours to the horses and Jackie.

I;m not suite sure that that family knows that they have been adopted by Station 51 as yet - they will.

Wow. This story was so good. I have tears in my eyes. I have a soft spot for horses, and I have always felt strongly that fire horses were really special. Such grand animals that did such an important job. I love that you named the horses Cappy, Chester, and Chief. Have a hard time believing Mike was afraid of horses. He is my hero, and I can't see him being afraid of anything! Great, great story.

I had my doubts about this story, but oh my god it's so freaking good. I love this story and I definitely would read it again

Great story! Just started reading these fanfic although it was such a fan growing up. The storyline was well done and very mesmerizing. Liked the other. Characters introduced in this story fit in well.

This was an amazing story. Lots of action and angst, yet had humor and great dialog. I loved that Roy and Johnny saw Cappy's spirit at the end. Mike being afraid of horses was funny. Good job!
