Words are inadequate. But as one man said; "Friendship is born at the moment one person says to another; 'What, you too? I thought I was the only one."

Petra, I smiled throughout your narrative. I couldn't help but grin and nod with your pictures of the magnitude of Aslan's roar. For myself, similar to you, it is "a roar that isn't just heard, but felt." (a slight paraphrase I hope you don't mind). In the new Walden Media films this is one of my favorite scenes. I just want to thank you for putting into words what others of us have felt as well and yet haven't been able to pen. Thank you, Petra. It's nice to be one of two rather than one of one.
Ladychristythenoble chapter 1 . 11/13/2008

claire henry chapter 1 . 7/17/2008
I can't belive that I hadn't reviewed this before, that was wonderful not words can tell how amazing this piece was. I can almost the Aslans' Roar calling out to me. Thank you for writeing this oneshot. and Princess Aravis was right when she wrote she can see the gifts that the Lion has given you to write on His behalf. I can see it too.
Princess Aravis chapter 1 . 7/17/2008
Wow. That was incredibly well written. Amazing. It sent shivers up and down my spine, though in a positive way. You painted a vivid picture in my mind perfectly! If you think about it, it must have been similar to the Roman soldiers when the stone rolled away, or when Jesus gave up His spirit and the veil to the temple tore. Probably a similar feeling of fear and defeat to some; and joy, hope, courage and peace to others. When He said "It is finished", and conquered death, conquered the White Witch of this world. Not to say that we don't have Queens of the Underworld still fighting against Aslan (and us), but you perfectly portrayed how Jesus-er, Aslan-conquered evil once and for all. Wow. I'd like to see you write one about the Last Battle, before the door closes. Great writing. I can definitely see that the gifts the Lion has given you, you have given back to Him. Only then is when you can unlock its tru potential, and I can see that He is writing through you.

Aravis, a daughter of the King

Bravo! I do believe I have stumbled upon a masterpiece - and a wonderful author.

You capture all of the emotinos in this so well! I envy your ability to convey the unexplainable. The descriptions of Edmund's and Lucy's emotions in particular made me grin ear to ear, because I personally know what that feels like. Indeed, nothing can escape the sound of his roar. I also loved how you ended it with the poem line.

A lovely, sweetly short fic.

O my word! amazing... When I read about Lucy's feeling to Aslan's roar I couldn't help getting a shiver down my spine, I think u should write more of these things, meanwhile I'm putting this in my favorites.
King Caspian the Seafarer chapter 1 . 5/28/2008
Words truly cannot describe such a thing as Aslan's roar, but you came pretty close!

Great job; I was truly moved. The last line is especially meaningful: At the sound of his roar, sorrows truly were no more.

Again, amazing job!
