Beautiful imagery!
;-)
I wish to Fly chapter 1 . 4/2/2013
It is well written.
SleepingSeeker chapter 1 . 3/1/2013
Excellent, sparse piece. You should really consider expanding this. I'm working on a darker take of Leo x Karai if you want to check it out, titled, The Tender Trap.

Anyway, I'd love to read this expanded! :D
MalibuShaggy chapter 1 . 5/2/2012
I really enjoyed how this was written. I could almost visualize it like a beautifully portrayed movie.
princessebee chapter 1 . 11/24/2011
Great story... so many intriguing dynamics and elements to it. The subtle handling of Karai's own loneliness, the uncertainty of the degree of Leo's emotional involvement, if any... it's intense and torrid and desperate and bitter and even a bit raunchy even though there's nothing explicit in it at all... I think it's the situation that makes it so.

This whole scenario would make for such a great longer fic, exploring from both sides...
quali chapter 1 . 2/12/2010
Interesting concept. This could be made into a really intense fic.
Spacefille chapter 1 . 2/7/2009
I like it a lot, and am a big fan of the pairing. No critique that I can think of, it is short and to the point and tells the story well.

Personally I'm all for Karai being like "wtf" and Leo having to explain haha, but that would be a story for a far longer fic. I hope you write more Karai Leo, it totally inspires my Karai/Leo muse!

Thanks again for the ficlet!
andrea chapter 1 . 12/11/2008
um... you've obviously never had a pet turtle before 'cause those things are ugly
Dierdre chapter 1 . 6/6/2008
Oh, very nice! I loved the imagery, and it was a refreshingly new angle to a classic pairing. Brava! *Favorites*
maryshine chapter 1 . 6/4/2008
So far, this is my faviorit Karai/Leo story! I just wish you went into more details, lOL!
GreenWillow chapter 1 . 6/1/2008
Really well done. I knew who you had to be talking about, but not because it was obvious in any way. I like the idea that there might be such a raw attraction bringing them together having nothing to do with the trappings of culture or socialization. Like a different kind of "no-mind" state; seasonal, instinctual and purely physical.

I love this: "Anything to induce her clotted blood liquefy and flow, to force her frozen limbs into pliancy, to coax her dormant heart to resume its ineluctable walk to the graveā€”to defy the cold, however briefly."

Very nice.
xKumax chapter 1 . 6/1/2008
Really nicely written, and although you didn't specify until the end, I did click it was Leo and Karai half way through. It's very beautifully written, and also poetic. Nicely done _
