Really enjoyed this story, especially when Sam kicks into gear. At the mere possibility of something happening to his big brother, Sam Winchester becomes a whole different package. None of that bashful little brother routine. I like that.

That's quite an interesting blend of human and supernatural antagonists, and a really poignant look at how the entire gamut of thoughts runs through Sam's head when he can sense that something is wrong with Dean's not being there and how he will go through stealing cars, breaking fingers, and calling the cops on townies in order to get to Dean. You don't often see all of those facets of Sam's personality in play at the same time.

This is my idea of a perfect Supernatural fic. Dean missing. Sam searching for him and doing WHATEVER necessary to find him and then finding him all beaten and everything and then taking care of him and really appreciating them being together. *sighs happily*

Dean's, “You got your germs all over it", had my giggling, it's such a wimpy thing to say. As did Sam's recitation: "Your brother, Sam. Champsfield, Texas; April first, 2006." Ahh, the cuteness of this story! The warm fuzzies are just running rampant.
