This story left me in tiers. It's really well writen and it makes Mello's death seem like a good thing. I liked to see this point of veiw from him. Well done, I love it. I'm faving this fic.

I remember favoriting this so long ago...and I looked through my favorites just to read it again today.

I can't believe I didn't review this before. It was really amazing. I love the song you used and I loved what Mello was thinking through the whole thing. It was really heartwarming...it was really sad.

I'm not one to cry easily, but I had a few silent tears.

And the ending...that was perfect. I really loved this short story..

This is honestly the cutest and most tragic thing I have ever read, I wanted to cry so badly, you have no idea. This is definitely my favorite pairing, and you wrote this whole scene very well. Great job.

Wow, just wow. I'll tell you this: it's hard to make me feel emotional at five-thirty on a Wednesday, but you really did it. I got so into it that I started playing 'Better Than Me' halfway through.

Everything and everyone was so in-character, especially Mello, who was just perfect. It was so heartwrenching and sad knowing what would happen at the end, and I love the closing line. Amazing work.

It's nice. Angsty, but nice.

I was thinking about it, and... even though I spent all of ep. 35 yelling at Mello for the stupid kidnapping plot, I realized that if he hadn't gotten himself and Matt killed, then Light wouldn't have killed Takada, and she would've killed Near. And let's face it, Near had the case completely solved by then, and was about to commence the confrontation where he outs Light as Kira. So really, she *had* to be kidnapped or assassinated in order for things to come to a close.

I think you made me cry...*sniff*. That was really good...but then again, anything that involves MEllo and/or Matt dying make me sad...but not cry. This was good...
