A shame you have not continued this story - It's an interesting premise.

Also, peanut butter on pancakes is delicious, especially with maple syrup! (When they're warm, the PB gets melty with the syrup, and it's -amazing-)

Oh man. That just hurts. I truly know how it feels to want something so badly and then to not get it...it feels like your body is empty, like you can't breathe.

Perhaps the professors didn't see enough character in her work? That would tie into the dream nicely. She has talent but no soul (the white) and must learn how to bring color into her music. I hope you update soon. This is really good.

Normally, I'm a little wary around AU stories, especially in the Avatar section. The music component in this one, however, caught my eye, so I took the chance to read it. And I'm very glad I did.

I never really thought about what kinds of instruments would work out of the Avatar characters, but this gave a good small glimpse of what might fit. The cello was an interesting piece for Sokka, and I love the idea of Katara playing the piano, it works quite well for her. I'd love to know what the others play, and I'm curious to see that sax player (hint hint).

I'd also love to see what happens with this story. I wasn't really surprised that Katara didn't get in, but I am interested to know why she didn't. Hopefully, you will continue this story so we can find out.
