I really like this. I love the friendship and loyalty between Legolas and Gimli. It's one of my favorite things about Lord of the Rings, and you've portrayed it wonderfully here. Great job with this. I really enjoyed it. :)

"It was time for the hunted to become the hunters." wow! A perfect ending for a great story! I love how you put it in Gimli and Legolas' point of view. I was always curious as to why the two didn't arrive sooner and Aragorn did ... But not soon enough to save Boromir.
I love how you wrote the teamwork that Legolas and Gimli had, the chemistry when fighting together. They make a great team! :)

Beautiful! I have no idea how you so masterfully wrote those battle scenes, worked out the logic, and stayed so true to the characters! That was amazing. I could say that Legolas and Gimli are extremely excellent strategists, but as the logic of the characters really depends on that of the author, marvelous planning! The battle was very exilerating to read I greatly enjoyed the bickering between Gimli and Legolas. I liked Gimli's plans to taunt the orce! Very dwarvish.

I swear, the books to you are like a wall that you walk along with a bucket of mortar, looking for gaps to fill. Needless to say, you are very good at it. :)

I love the attention to detail given to the surroundings; aside from painting a very vivid mental picture, I thought it was very appropriate for a story told largely from the point of view of a Wood-elf. I also liked the mentions of the Lothlorien bow and how it required extra strength to draw: I have the Weapons and Warfare book that accompanies the LotR movies and consult it frequently to assist with weapon descriptions/fight scenes, and I just wanted to let you know that such little details are very much appreciated. Excellent as always! :)

Your characters are very well drawn... and it was nice to read a bit more about two of the least followed (in the original story) members of the fellowship.

Lol, those two, you expect them any minute to compare battle scars and outdo each other with stories of how they got them. And at the same time berate each other for being careless in getting those scars, giggle.
