Although I absolutely love your story, I can't help but feel unsettled by how shitty everything is turning out for Obi-wan and co.

It also seems that even hough there are Obidala themes, it looks doubtful to me that they will actually end up together. At least with how tragic things seem to be going at the moment. Not to mention how rigid the code seems to be, in addition to Obi-wan's adherence.

Also, the future alternate Obi-wan comes from must have been awful if he opted to kill so many people off. I can only hope that these hardships will eventually come to pass, especially Aayla's as well.

Why do they blame obi wan for something an alternate version of him did?

This is one of the best pieces of work I’ve read, and that includes published books. The character development is so carefully and masterfully done. It’s a true ensemble cast, with no one falling into the cracks. In the beginning it was a bit tricky to keep track of all the flashbacks, but it’s really done it’s job of providing depth to the characters, so that you care, even about the morally ambiguous ones. I was sad to see Han’s fate in this AU though.

The Star Wars movie universe is laden with black and white, good and evil. I really appreciate the shades of grey that the main cast has. Would have liked to see some Vader redemption, but it doesn’t look like it’s headed that way.

The world building is truly top notch! Makes me wonder how you got your inspiration. I’m also very impressed with your in-depth knowledge of the expanded universe and the way you’ve seamlessly weaved it into your work.

The only critique I have is the occasional slip into 1st person. I’m not sure if this is simply an error, or is it perhaps someone's point of view?

I've just binge-read your entire story and all I can say is that this is one of the most stunning pics I have ever read. The world building and plot threads intertwine so beautifully, it's not a home knit scarf but a stunning masterpiece. The plot twists and loops and jumps never fails to get me, and the subtle link of different mythologies and beliefs combing is just stunning (look at me using that word again, but that's what this pic is; stunning).

The character development and depth is outstanding; although some characters may be unredeemable, you can't help but still sympathize with them, even though they may be scum. Your Obi-Wan and Padmé are grittier and more grey that what was portrayed in the films, but with this world as dark as it is, I'm not complaining about it.

One of my favourite (and most frustrating) things about this pic is that I truly don't know how it will end. This galaxy is a darker place than portrayed in the films and the constant dodges and weaves characters do will never fail to confuse me on how the ending will turn out. Obviously, as a reader I would want Obi-Wan, Padmé, Aayla, and the rest of their crew to live happily ever after, or at least have Obidala retire to Varykino, but I wouldn't complain if the ending isn't all sunshine and rainbows.

Whenever I read about Vader and his accomplices, I get the chills. Lol.

Awesome chapter, I really would of loved the irony if that was Vader's end but it did accomplish in getting Vader into his suit. Also he's more insane than I had previously thought if he wants to destroy the Force but obtain power while doing so. What has me wondering is if he's successful and destroys the Force then he would also lose any power he gained as his power comes from the Force, he can't use what no longer exists.

Anyway pulling myself out of that train of thought, looking forward to the next one.
