This was a different approach to Ryuki than most. Even I wouldn't have done it like this.

But you wrote it perfectly! It had Rika's I-don't-care additude, her look-at-me-and-I-will-hurt-you threats, and just her antisocial detachment from hanging around Ryo! She IS like the birds who are beautiful when free. And I get how Ryo would feel when the 'bird' chooses to be with you even though it doesn't need you. You really captured his affection for her! He would be the one who thought Rika was beautiful because Rika was full of life and not like others. Great job, I love your style of writing for Ryukis.

Ruki (or Rika, if you prefer) was a tad out-of-character, but maybe that was because she matured over the years? Like White Artemis said, I never thought Ruki would return her feelings to Ryo. The pairing wss great, though.

oh my gosh. This story reminds me so much why I love love love this pairing. You wrote their characters pretty well I might say and I thought you delievered the story with enough mush and humor (I chuckled along the line where Rika mentioned/berated the skirt that started the situation). I especially love the interaction between Ryo and Rika. My goodness, if there'd be a canon scene between these two...I'd definitely want it to go something like this! LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT! Thank you! And I hope to read more of your ryo/rika fics again!
