| visitor chapter 2 . 6/7/2011 These were fun to read, however I did get really tired of the continuous references to pain. I completely understand that Edward would have an epic struggle to hold on to his mental control, which would no doubt be mentally and probably even emotionally painful. The problem lies with the description of the physical, lusting pain. Having that degree of desire isn't "painful" in any way. As I read I got the feeling that perhaps the author had perhaps never experienced this type of encounter. I might be wrong about that, but regardless, all I know is that sex very rarely includes pain, but primarily pleasure. It would have made for better reading if they had both just relaxed and enjoyed the moment together. |
