Interesting. This is nice to imagine. Takes away at least some of the angst. Glinda will still think her dead, however. And Dorthy has to live with the guilt of having “killed” someone.

I love how you put this in The Wizard of OZ category! I think that someone who has never seen wicked could understand it yet this is also great for Wicked fans! I wonder how many people who have read/favorite/reviewed have seen Wicked... and if they haven't what they think of the 'twist'.

Ugh this was so beautiful. I'm in love with Wicked and with The Wizard of Oz, and this was so well written. And the rose colored dress was supposed to be Glinda? That was the only part I was a little confused about. But that's what I figured it was. Thank you for this One-shot

I am actually a little choked up reading this.

This was so poignant and BEAUTIFUL. Thank you for not villainizing Dorothy. Thank you for that so much. I get so mad when Wicked fans do that when as Elphie put it, she's just silly and misguided, but still good. And I mean, she's a CHILD - what do the fans actually expect? And I am in love with your portrayal of Elphaba. Just... guh. ELPHABA. The part where she begged Dorothy to make sure to put the scarecrow's fire out shattered me. Seriously, this was beautiful and perfect and I'm in love. WONDERFUL oneshot.
