I'm so glad we got a happy ending, if the original had memory wipes or death I would have raged here.

Aww Youko finally got to show his own side of affection, I almost felt bad that Kurama kept the guy hidden and at bay. As if he didn't trust Youko with Kagome. Sure, the fox mentioned killing rivals without remorse but I doubt he would have gone through with it if they saw the girl happy with whomever it was.

Now I kind of want to read more, like would they really go to ancient China? Reikai is involved on the case so they'll know of the jewel before Kagome can make something for her love to cross over and he has to make plans and excuses for going missing while in the middle of school.

Anyway, I loved it and definitely loved that it was a finished story!

Pff- I'm happy Kagome slapped Kurama silly so hard even Inuyasha has complained that it hurts. And he got a healthy dose of jealousy too. A good day all in all XD

Talk about a hell of a reunion between ex's. I bet if they hadn't spooked her, both Kurama's presence and hurtful summary of their relationship and Hiei's invasion of her mind, they would be making up right now.

Well... I can't say I'm surprised at Kurama and Youko's behavior. I'm only glad they are suffering! How dare they make Kagome this sad. At least she is getting more time with her friends in the past.

I never thought he would pull the Edward card, I mean, unless he figured she has been attacked by youkai because he was near her but then he would know that she knew about it too. So why? Agh! Stupid Kurama! The tittle of the chapter matches, altruist's folly indeed.

Aww love how Kurama is shy and insecure in contrast of Youko, he's still very much a human teenager. And Kagome, well, she's cute. I like how she's giving herself a chance even if only to defy Inuyasha's taunts and expectations but she's not using Kurama or anything, just wanting to go on a normal date that she could enjoy without pushy friends hooking her up with a bland guy.

LOL! Would have been so much easier if they'd just come out and told each other. Now I want to see Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha from this era...

I was wondering if you could write a Sequel to this story.

Loved the story, kinda disappointed that the only sex mentioned was between Kurama and some other girl; I kinda expected it to happen between Kagome and Kurama as well, or at least hinted at. Though I would love a sequel
