I have wondered myself how Dean must have felt that young, but it was always fleeting, me being just another one of the many people who clearly didn't pay enough attention to an eight year old shouldering the responsibilities he should never have been given. You did an amazing job, not making John out to be a complete ass, but more of a broken man who didn't really know how to be a parent, and what a gift for Sam to see his brother at that age. To see his part in what shaped Dean. I do realize these people are fictional, just in case I am coming across a bit loony. anyhow off to read the next part, I have no doubt it will be great! |

The way you portrayed Dean's childhood was heartbreaking, and I was terribly upset when Sam was planning on leaving. I was glad to see the ending was a bit happier. I loved how you wrote Sam's internal dialougue, too. All in all, I was glad t have read your story. |
