I was a bit disappointed in how abridged the whole cell saga was, but I'm glad that you skipped over a lot and avoided restating the manga as you said in the author's note I'm also glad that you spent time describing anything that diverged from the manga, such as Vegeta and Piccolo talking. I'm also impressed with how Vegeta's character was handled so good job on that one. I'm also looking forward to your explanation on how Cell came to the past, since it would be harder for him to defeat both Gohan and Trunks.

Now that was a pretty good chapter. Honestly I liked some of the subtle changes that made the scene move a little faster. There wasn't much of a fight between Cell and 16, but really it fits Cell more to just jump quickly onto an opportunity presented by 17's actions to get him. Heck he nearly had 18 right there. All thanks to Tien for stepping in and doing what he could.

I thought the temporary alliance was done well. It really seemed like something done just because both sides know it has to be done. I'm sure they'd be happy to settle things later if possible.

Don't worry about the time it takes to update. Though I don't write much my style is pretty much the same. I just want to sit down and right a whole chapter in one go. After that can just read it through several times to change things, but getting the whole thing down is important. This is a pretty big thing to write so I'm just glad your doing it.

This chapter seemed long enough to me, though it wouldn't hurt to make it longer. Anyway, I like the fact that it deviated from canon. Even though the current situation is similar to the one in canon, the way it got there is different, which shows that you're not just retelling the story, which is a good thing. Well I thought this was well done. It's tough to deal with Vegeta sometimes since that pride is so powerful. Besides he grew up in a very different culture so his approach to relationships just won't be the same as a normal person. At least he decided to work with Trunks. Both of them will get a chance to grow.

I feel bad for 16. The guy has the ability to notice powers but it's pretty much useless since 17 and 18 don't list. Too much confidence about their ability without being able to judge their opponents accurately.

Can't wait for the next chapter since it will be pretty big.

This was a nice chapter. You've done a very good job with the whole 'Vegeta opening up' thing, in both this and your oneshot. Anyway, this my help improve your fight scenes. When you say disapear and reapear, you could instead use the word phase. For Example:

'Vegeta phased behind Trunks', instead of 'Vegeta disappeared and reappeared behind Trunks.'

Wow what a busy chapter. There is so much to talk about I'm not sure where to start. Guess since it happened over so many episodes I didn't fully focus on the passage of time. But really they landed in the past and within a day were in the time chamber. Of course why waste time when lives are on the line. Guess it's a good thing the androids were beaten in the past since it doesn't appear Trunks and Gohan will be getting a rematch.

Really am thinking about how the story will proceed. Instead of young Gohan going in with Goku it will be Mirai. Can't help trying to figure out how the story will unfold with these changes. Still it will be a good opportunity for Gohan to spend time with his dad that he lost out on. It may be training but a whole year for him will probably be the greatest present he could get. Now I wonder if it will be Mirai who beats Cell. Unless Goku goes into the chamber twice to train with both Gohans. Gohan proved with taking out the androids that he can get a boost from rage still so it might happen.

Anyways it must have been a great time in the future after the androids were beaten. Would be like Gohan to not want the public attention. They lost a lot so it's not like he really needs the fame. Besides gives a better chance for him to have a normal life that way. Forget how far this story will end up being. But don't expect it will cover too much of their lives after the battles are done.

The fight against 17 should be a great read. Will probably watch the episode between chaptters just to remember the good times. I know you said it won't be exactly the same. Things have changed so events won't go exactly the same. If Cell does show up I can't imagine Gohan will just sit around. Unlike the series this one is a super saiyan and has lost enough people for his liking.

I really liked the look in the other world. Piccolo had Goku worried with that monotone voice. Piccolo is so handy because he is so straight forward. If something needs to be said he'll just get on with it. Glad for Goku and Vegeta to find out that their sons are stil alive and well. Really shows the growth of Vegeta after his death.

Just a really great chapter to read. The important lesson here is to never be late for a trip to the past :).

Good chapter...I wonder if Mirai Gohan is going to train with Goku and Gohan?

This was a great chapter, though technically, couldn't Gohan and Trunks set the time machine to arrive at the correct date no matter what time it was in their timeline? They wouldn't have to worry about being late then; but it doesn't really matter, it makes things more interesting with them arriving later.

Also, I hope you don't make Krillin have a crush on 18 like in the series. I thought that was stupid, and you've already eliminated the possibility of him stepping on any remote control since they didn't know to look in Dr. Gero's lab.

Anyway, it was a nice chapter and I look forward to the next one, no matter what you decide to do.

Nice chapter. I probably would of made this as a sequel but... oh well. I am looking forward to the next chapter. I wonder who Mirai will train with... Picolo? Well I liked this chapter good job.

That was great! I'm glad that Gohan destroyed the androids. It will be interesting to see what happens when Cell arrives. I hope that when you get to that point, if they don't already know about Cell from the past, you first buil up the suspense of who's responsible for the recent strong of deaths before you have him come out in the open and attack them.

I'll admit that the androids dying wasn't my guess for this chapter. Definitely an interesting development since it takes away at least one threat from the present. Was wondering if 17 would get away. Still I think this is quite fitting for Gohan to finally take those two down. Nothing against Trunks since he's my second favourite behind Gohan as a character. Still after all that has been endured he finally gets to put that darkness to rest. Of course its not over yet, but at least they've made a big step.

Gohan was a bit slow to jump in, but I did enjoy how things progressed once he did. The most dangerous thing in the world is an angry Gohan. Do like how this time it pushed him to another level. It may not be SSJ2 but it was more than enough to take care of things. It could get pretty interesting when he and Trunks head back to help. Can't always predict things since Gohan just surviving is a big difference.

Great chapter. I'll be looking forward to the next update, but you do have to go at your own pace.
