That, right there, has got to be the most perfect characterization of Roy I've read yet.

There are no words for how beautiful this is! My heart and my head just weren't ready for such a welll crafted fanfiction! Oh my gosh, I seriously have the urge to laugh and cry at the same time. Such gorgeous writing, and it stayed true to the Fall's overall feeling and characterizations. Roy was perfect, as was Alexandria. Their dialogue was natural and heartfelt. It almost seemed like this was a forgotten epilogue that we never got to see. . . for the beginning for a direct sequel to the film. This story made my heart hurt in all the right ways. I love that Alexandria mentioned that he is always falling; it tied in lovely to the theme. I must admit to being a little sad to find out she was married, but it also felt right. After what they had been through together it wouldn't be right to make them a couple. Alexandria the great will always be the little girl who saved him, and I don't think that he'd ever be able to see her completely past that point. But I'd like to believe that she and Roy would continue to be friends for the remainder of their days.

Omg she's married, I felt like I got the wind sucked out of me that was so saaaaaaaaaad! I liked this a lot, their interactions were so very natural, I could hear their voices, especially Roy's. Good job!

I cant tell you how happy I was when i found your story, and how grateful when it turned out just perfect. There is less than 5 fics in this theme on hte Internet, i guess, and it is a pity. But yours... i love your style, i have to say. you captured the moments and silence, all little movements and glances just perfectly. The whole mood and ending is just as bittersweet as in the movie. For a short terrifying moment I really thought you wanna kill Roy, despite all the events. I loved the small references on the film, the long-gone events, and touches, everything just adds its little part to the atmosphere. I also like how we cannot decide what relationship and feelings they have for each other, is it some father-dauther or man-woman thing, and it is good.

I only wish you had other stories in this theme because we really crave for such beautifully written fics here. This movie deserves it:)
