S chapter 11 . 6/27
Enjoyed reading this story. The time jumps were a bit confusing, but could keep track as I read the story in one sitting. This story is very different in the various solutions employed. Liked it overall. Thanks for writing.
Guest chapter 1 . 6/27
That was a juicy poem.

Hi TW,

I was thinking of using Sinclair molecule chain myself, but I thinking about a strand of spiderweb charmed unbreakable instead. :)

Good story! :)

Cheers

Very intriguing plot, but the story was a little over the top for my mood. :)

Okay, I'm confused. James' letter says that Sirius is the secret keeper. Umm?

I really like this story , thank you very much . I would like to see some side stories , maybe , the Lycan paramilitary or the Crabb / Goyle , body guard service .

Sorry but I just don't get this at all. None of it makes any sense. And that was halfway through the first chapter. Is this a sequel to another story? Or have i, just like this, lost the plot?
Monster King chapter 11 . 3/6/2018

"Lucius Malfoy, Marked Death Eater, Caught in the act of using an unforgivable on his wife, the Lady Narcissa Black, killed in an explosion of Malfoy Manor. We were able to save his head, and extract years worth of data, bribes, murders, everything." I'm sorry ... I have to admit laughing like a lunatic at Lucius's disembodied head acting like it was so important, threatening, posturing (if a head can "posture") ... It reminded me of an old b&w movie I saw when I was a kid. I can't remember the title, but I remember the head sitting on a table and talking to ... someone. Actually, the head by itself acted a lot like Draco! LOL!

Thanks for a very unusual read. I enjoyed it.

"Arthur had asked to drop back for a while at his wife's behest." Does he have a new wife? Remember that he divorced Molly and cast her out of Clan Weasley back in chapter two.

I'm very confused about Ron and Molly. Do they have any connection to the blond waitress and her son in Oz?

"Magical people were immune to anthrax, and almost all other normal diseases ..." Perhaps they are; but isn't it possible to pick up the bacteria and carry them to non-Magicals ... via clothing, skin, hair, etc.? (That whole Gruinard Island thing creeps me out, and it would be even easier to carry on biological warfare today. **shiver**)

Greyback and his pack certainly have left a trail of carnage. Permanently taking him as well as his pack out of the war could well see the end of new Lycanthropes in Britain. It might also see relaxed restrictions for registered, responsible, law-abiding weres. Given the pain of the transformation, I can't imagine why anyone would choose to forego Wolfsbane, as some do. I realize there is still pain, but it must be less than going without it. Of course, Greyback is probably a psychopath or a sociopath, along with those of his pack. His death and theirs will most likely allow everyone to breathe easier, especially their terrified victims.

"If you look at it objectively, it looks as if Dumbledore is supporting the pureblood bigots.." Yes, it certainly does. Dumbledore has a lot for which to answer, both actions and inactions. With his three positions at Hogwarts and in the government, he had the support to do many good things while Harry was closeted with the Dursleys. Did he? Apparently not.

How is it possible that NOT ONCE in ten years was he able to find a morning or afternoon to go see Sirius and talk to him? Even if he believed him guilty, I should think he would want to know one of two things: (1) How did he miss the fact that Sirius was really a DE all along? or (2) What happened to cause him to betray the friend he loved above all others? I would expect Dumbledore, as the leader of the Order, to want to learn from this betrayal, so that it couldn't happen again. Even more important, why didn't he see that Sirius had a trial, once things has settled down? Things weren't still busy for the whole thirteen years Sirius was incarcerated. The only reason I can find for Dumbledore's inaction regarding Sirius is that he knew the truth and didn't want to deal with Sirius's claim to Harry.

I feel like Dumbledore wasted those years when his political capital was strong - years when he could have been rounding up Horcruxes and abolishing unfair laws. What exactly WAS he doing during those years? I often wonder.

Amos Diggory probably wouldn't be all that effective as a Minister, having been killed off in chapter two. Of course, even dead, I'm sure he'd do at least as good a job as Fudgie. Maybe even better!

"How is Ron going to hide his Death Eater ways from Harry and Hermione.." I really don't think it's going to be a problem. After all, in chapter two we read the following: "Ronald will have his magic removed, his knowledge of magic obliviated and he will be given a new personality, and memories. He will then be transported to another country so there is no chance of him running into anyone he knew here."

I think Harry and Hermione will be quite well aware that something is wrong when they see Ron - especially if he has a wand - since they are expecting his magic to have been bound. If he is still using the Weasley name, they will also know something is wrong, as he and Molly were tossed from Clan Weasley. The real question is who let him go?

I'm concerned about the comment made about Arthur. "There's something...off.. about Arthur ... I went to school with the man, he is not the same fellow I bunked with.. it's like he is, I don't know..Controlled, influenced somehow..granted it's been more than 25 years, and he does have a wife and seven children..that would influence anybody."

Okay ... we know Arthur divorced Molly, stripped her of her magic, and kicked her out of Clan Weasley. He should be free of her potions by now. Is someone else dosing him? Just asking.

You need to work on paragraphing dialogue. You must only put the words of ONE SPEAKER per paragraph, even if the speaker only says one word. Every time you switch speakers, you MUST start a new paragraph, no matter how many or how few speakers are involved in a conversation. Putting two or more speakers and their dialogue into the same paragraph makes it difficult to know which speaker is saying what. Other than that, I am enjoying your story. (Sorry to contribute to your "dreaded format complaints.")

"The Headmaster went on to reiterate his warning that the people should work together toward the common good and fight the darkness that is ( he said the name of he-who must not-be named)."

Interesting quote by Dumbledore, who is definitely not my favorite person in this story (and a host of others, as well). I'm curious ... does Dumbledore ever say HOW to "fight the darkness that is [Voldemort]"? I mean, he's against violence - the Order are not encouraged to use any violent spells even while being plowed down by the DEs - so how are "the people" supposed to fight against a group who throw around cutting charms, entrail-expelling curses, and AKs like they were cheering charms? Dumbledore's directives and "encouragement" are nothing but meaningless platitudes.

I love the Elves - "Artists with C-4." :)
