Some paragraphs took my breath away. Love this. I came across this years ago but as I recall too young to really take it all in

Okay. This is where the heartache starts—really starts, I mean—and I love this reveal. There are a hundred thousand ways to do this moment, but you illustrate exactly as it’s done in the film and I’m always struck by that. It’s an incredibly difficult scene to nail down because there’s very little that’s actually said. What you do here is perfect layering of emotional weight and the movement-heavy nature of the scene, the physicality is it. A beautiful balance, teetering between the concrete and the ephemeral in a way that feels so natural and easy but is anything but.

So much to love and admire about this chapter, how Leia fights to convince herself to get up and face reality while at the same time telling herself that she can change it.

Leia’s so good. So so good at what she does here, which means YOU are so good at what you do here. At no point in this chapter is Leia helpless despite her fear of space walks. She is in control, using her skills to bring Han to her side on this issue. And she gets what she wants, or the first step of it, at least. A Leia in charge is a Leia I love.

I love how this chapter ends. It’s always felt like a decidedly good fanfic choice, like one you could only make in a fic where we know how our heroes survive their adventure. Pro fic doesn’t have such things and it makes me happy to see it used here to such strong effect. You focus on the important things that are happening in the story make it a fabulous writing choice and one I admire so much.

I loved this chapter, and the way you wrote Leia. Chewbacca’s cameo was priceless and the ‘this time’ between Han and Leia at the end was such a sweet way to put them back on track with one another.
This is the first time I have written a review but will try to do so more often. Keep writing - it is inspiring!

This is such a heart-warmimg chapter, I love how Leia and Han's characters are presented: complex but still so human. Especially seeing the epiphany through Leia's eyes is so sweet!
