Whoa, this was great! Rosso's slut game with Weiss was nicely portrayed too - I can totally see that happening the way you've described it.

Your adjectives regarding Nero's darkness were gold. "Afraid of the dark?" is a great Nero line. Actually, I adore your Nero in addition to Weiss' crazed reverence for him in the first chapter. This is certainly a story for my favourites list!

Vindictive Nero is awesome.

I really wish there was more information available concerning the Tsviets, especially Nero and Weiss. Square may have been shamed into creating the online multi-player game in order to give Weiss more substance (apparently a lot of people considered him a huge wimp in DoC), but he and Nero still didn't get any sort of on-screen interaction in that game, either.

This is why I wish there were more "back story" fanfictions such as this one. Even if I doubt Weiss would want any kind of relationship with Rosso, it's still an interesting idea.

Looking forward to reading the other One Shots in this series.

I loved your Nero. He is, in a word, perfect. It's rare for me to see someone's writing on the Tsviets where I really SEE them, so this was a joy to see.

I did, however, feel that you overdid Rosso just a tad. She seemed a little over-the-top in her thoughts. However, her line to Nero was pure brilliance, and I loved it.

Wow! Impressive! I loved the ending line Nero left us with, its classic! If anyone could scare the crap out of Rosso and make her cry at the same time, its Nero XD. Maybe she shouldn't have said what she said. I've always found Neros character to be intriguing and beautiful, a bit mysterious too. Very well written and the flow was fantastic. Loved it! I apologise in advance for the shortness of this review (it's already past my bedtime), and I wish I had more time to appreciate this as it deserves, but I know that if I put reviewing off I may never get around to it. I'm a horrible procrastinator.

I should begin by saying that you have a wonderfully poetic way with words. My favourite section was probably, "Nero was more. The counterbalance, the reason to Weiss' rhyme, the method to his madness, the point to all of his bluster. But even beyond that, Nero was vengeance. He was judgement come forth from unholy shade, swift and terrible and unendingly beautiful." That was incredibly evocative, and a excellent...demonstration, I suppose is the word to use...of what Nero and Weiss are to each other - not opposites, precisely, but complements. Alike yet different, and necessary for complete understanding. It is impossible consider Nero without factoring in Weiss, and you cannot think about Weiss without bringing Nero into the picture as well. You've demonstrated that wonderfully. I also adored your final line. It rounded the piece out fantasically, and sent a real shiver down my spine. (It's ironic that these past few days I've been rereading the Sandman series... Nero would be a wonderful creature of Nightmare, I think.)

I'll continue by noting that you have one of the best grasps on Weiss's characterization that I've ever seen (I expected nothing less, given your wonderful character and relationship analyses). I really liked Weiss's outrage at how Hojo perceived Nero, particularly his objection to the 'tainted' label. "That was Hojo. That was tainted." I...the only way I can describe it is to say that I really FELT those words. I'm not quite sure how else to explain it, so I hope that you understand.

As I'm forced to finish here, I will close by thanking you most humbly for your recommendations of my stories. After reading this, I think I will have to strive even harder to capture the Tsviets. You're setting an extremely high standard.
