That is a fantastic line. I adore Pansy's reminders to herself about her marriage vows, and I love that you listed Harry's flaws.

Pansy is amusing as hell and her relationship with Harry is great. My only complaint is the background Hermione/Snape pairing which is not only disgusting but unethical.

Still, otherwise very cute & funny.

One day, a long long time ago, you left a review for one of my fics. You said, 'I like your Pansy, I think she's cool,' or something to that end. I remember receiving the review, and thinking that it was the best thing about my week. I remember this, because your handle was unbearably familiar (another of the Queens of Draco/Hermione) which made me kind of go, 'omg, why is she reading MY crap.' But I really remember your review, because I received it when i was having a terribly shitty week in college-probably my absolute worst at school-and I was thinking that there wasn't one good thing about my life. No effing joke. I was thinking of taking time off of school, and all. But I got your review. And I'm not going to say it was a ray of light, or anything equally trite. But I got it, and I smiled-especially at the line about Pansy-because I LOVE Pansy, more than I love some of my friends. She's the best character I have dancing in my head, and I thought to myself, 'this is it. Pansy is something I do good.'

I'm not saying things got better immediately, because they didn't. But I felt better, and I will always remember the day you sent me that review, because of how bad things were, and how much better you made me feel. I never thanked you, which I'm terribly sorry for, but I was still clawing at my Pit Of Doom, so I can't be blamed, really.

Anyway, I wanted to say thanks. I always said I would read some of your fics, and now, finally, I am.

I loved the premise of this. It was divine. Harry/Pansy is my favorite ship, for many reasons, and that this was a marriage fic in which they were already married really rocked my socks. I love Pansy as a Working Girl and Harry as her gallant gentleman who always picks her up in the car. That was BRILLIANT.

I think you write Sassy!Pansy quite well. And Sassy!Pansy is my favorite, as I think she plays off Harry and his overwhelming hero complex quite well. In this, she the right amounts bitchy and sarcastic and precious and wonderful and just... well, everything I love about Pansy. I'm kind of in love.

I really liked Harry, too. The best thing about Harry/Pansy, I think, is how utterly different they seem. Too different, almost, but not quite. Because Harry will always find a compromise, because he's that kind of guy, and Pansy will meet him there in the middle, because secretly, she wants to compromise, too. She's just to proud to say so.

The truly inspired moment in this, though, was the fact that she had never opened her own car door. That was amazing. It summed up Harry, in that is exactly something he would do, Pansy, in that it's something she would notice, and... the sweet, sweet kiss on the neck that followed? Made me shiver, really.

Guh. I just fangirled you.
