This was great. I like it a lot better than the real proposal on the show (the first one). Of course, if it had gone this way we wouldn't have had a story for season 5 and 6, but I still like your version better.

I love all the interactions that Peyton had with each of the guys that she missed back home. It was nice that Larry was included too even though he couldn't actually be there to celebrate. I'm glad that there was some Peyton/Jamie cuteness as we never got that till what, S6 and it was a nice PH moment too. I love the NP interaction of course and how they just know each other and have that jokey attitude still. Brooke was classic just the way that I like her, just a shame that she didn't have anyone for christmas.

Then of course Lucas, they're so beautifully in tune. The river road, their secret day together, the snow, skating and of course the propsal! All of it was perfect. Smooth bended knee action Lucas ;) his words were great too so there was no panicing from Peyt. Their future looks wonderful from where I'm sat. Just a shame that I once again failed to read this at Christmas!
