You have Brennan's character completely nailed, and you have helped me get a grip on how she could have been so uncharacteristically dim-witted in actually believing Jared's damning idictement of Booth's character.

Cam's remark to Brennan about Booth crawling over broken glass to save Brennan a second's worth of pain was so, so accurate, and Cam was, really, the only one qualified to make it, I reckon.

You gave me a great deal of food for thought regarding how Booth's childhood must have moulded and shaped the person he is now and just how fragile that 'cockiness' probably is.

Lovely story, beautifully written.

If only that episode had gone the way you wrote it. Sigh. That was amazing, as all of your stories are.

you are truly the best. And BTW, i think that the season five bones will be good. I know you're going cold turkey on it, but keep the faith. I personally find that the best way to handle it is to just focus on the actual CASES rather than any RELATIOnSHIP. whatever romance comes, let it come without expectation.

Ah le sigh. I just loved this. It was beautifully reasoned and so in-depth and seems like the perfect inner monologue for Brennan in this ep. Amazing work.

This story was also fantastic. The emotion and angst was palpable to the point of gut wrenching. This definitely crystalised so much of what happened in that episode and really showed how stinging her betrayal really was. The other thing that I hadn't realized was how similar her near dismissal of him was to Rebecca's and how his relationship with Bones could almost be viewed as his redemption after what he went through with Rebecca. One of my favorite parts of the hole story was Bones conversation with Cam. Just like you did in the Irresistible Force you used Cam in a similar fashion to how you used Max. That emotional instigator that really crystallizes for both the character and the audience the feelings that are so obvious to us yet missed by the two main characters. Hard ass Cam was absolutely terrific. I also very much enjoyed Brennan's long almost soliloquy like discourse where she tries to sort everything out. The mix of her scientific nature and your fantastic writing made it feel a bit like Darwin meets Wilde. You did digress into a rather sappy ending but again you kept it germane and very much in line with the story. Another terrific example of your very impressive writing skills.
