I'm not sure what to say about this. It's definitely . . . different. I really like the character of Addy. I'm asuming that Addy is Rodney's neice, Madison? And that the woman who merged with Atlantis is the replicator Weir? I'll admit that I had to read this story slowly, twice, before I even began to understand it.

Though I doubt you will, I'd love to see you expand on this. Maybe tell what happened that was so terrible that it led up to the descion to permantly cripple Atlantis and the Replicator Weir merging with the city. Does Addy ever find her Uncle (if she is who I think she is)? Does she ever learn the fate of any of The Five, or does she simply go back to Earth and move on?

And what happened to Woolsey? Did he die during the Wraith attack? Did he go back to Earth? The way this story reads, I find it highly unlikely that he would return to Earth and not tell them what really happened. The way his character progressed throughout season five, I kinda got the impression that, in a situation like this, he too would have rather stayed in Pegasus rather than go back to Earth and have to explain what happened and why Atlantis had been lost.

All in all, this is an enjoyable read and will be added to my favorites.

I can't find any faults with it!

This was excellent. I guessed who Addy really was but not the ending which was very sad but somehow perfect if it meant the city would not fall into the wrong hands, taking her secrets with her. I hope whatever she did to John did not harm him and that somewhere in the Pegasus Galaxy the Five have found peace and a measure of happiness they could never otherwise have found back on Earth. At least Edwards didn't get his greedy paws on the Truth. Ali D :~)

This is *stunning*, dark and disturbing and gorgeous. I'm still shivering.

So, I take it that the mystery woman who wrote the message in the diary and merged with Atlantis was another version of Elizabeth Weir, (maybe the FRAN/Weir we saw in Ghost in the Machine)? Protecting the city, from others and even from itself, to the end. That's a far more fitting end for her than what we saw on the show.

This is...kind of disturbing...which is a compliment to your writing...is Addy supposed to be related to McKay's sister at all?

VERY interesting story. I don't quite get it (alternate universe perhaps) but understand the motivation of Addy to keep Atlantis safe from glorymongers like Marshall. The words flowed.
