So cute, especially the proposal scene - I knew as soon as she started singing Taylor Swift that that would happen, but it didn't make it cheap or tacky - it made me squwal in delight, on the contrary! I can also totally relate to Elliot as a character cos I'm quite similar in terms of personality, and of course everyone loves J.D, so that makes them my favourite pairing.

Also, I have to thank you for introducing me to my new favourite word: Jelliot!

Great one-shot, and I don't think it was OOC at all. Elliot was very in-character, and I loved your insight into moments between Elliot and JD and how you linked them to her convictions and breaking them. It was a very good one-shot, although the ending was incredibly cheesy and fully, and I loved it!

A little Jelliot never went amiss. So glad they ended up together.

Wow. That was adorable. I saw a few typo's (about five I think) but I'll keep the specifics to myself. I really think you wrote the proposal scene the best. The words and the lyrics and the situation. . . You know, just GREAT. The part where Elliot said the line about putting a new hole in JD's wall? Well, it was funny, but when I read it I felt like it was broken; hm, like it could have been written differently so it sounded better? I guess that's the best way to put it. . .

My only other problem was that I felt the finale should have been a paragraph or two featuring the generalizations of Elliot's convictions. I loved the proposal (so much so that I had to bring it up in this paragraph too, obviously) but I felt like the entire fic titled "My Convictions" lacked unless those words - ("My Convictions") - were brought up at the end as a reminder to what the fic was about as a whole.

But that's it. I promise I'll leave it alone now. Please write some more Scrubs fics; I know you're capable! PS: great proposal! (Ha, brought it up a third time in the third paragraph!)

This is so amazing, words can't even begin to describe it. I absolutely ADORE the way this came out, even though I'm not a huge JDElliot shipper. It was beautiful, to say the least.

I do have one thing to point out, though, and that’s that Elliot has said on the show that she actually used sex as an icebreaker, which sort of conflicts with your first conviction there. However, considering the events of the show and how her character has grown and matured, I’m pretty sure her convictions would have changed. This isn’t a stab at your story-because, as I’ve already said, I think it’s absolutely excellent-it’s just an observation. Still, the way you've written it is perfect, and I wouldn’t change it for the world.

I'm usually not a sucker for romantic/proposal stories, but oh man...you did a really nice job here. That proposal was so sweet and you made the love between JD and Elliot undeniable in this one-shot. Great job.
