When the story become better and cliffhanger,seems like a que to be abandoned.. a good story..what a let down.

Hikaru character in your story is so frustrating..what his goal actually...why should he feel bad when he should and can win...what does he want actually..its a game..there must be loser and winner..please make up your mind whether you want him to be a good player with tremendous potential or coward plot is good but the character..nahhh.

Please don't make hikaru a coward..ughh..his mind seems so weak..

He always lose to akira one and half or half in canon..now even in ff...aiiii..

Well don't play if you don't want to beat your opponent..what a weird of disrespectful.

please go on with the story. i really want to know what other reason you think of for sai.

A metaphor you could use is scent... some scents, normal humans will never smell, and even those who at first or at some point eventually were able to distinguish it from the rest might forget how to smell it.

Also Hikaru is me af with certain things, we're either impossibly good or impossibly bad there is no in between

My first thoughts of the story, like you stated in the authors notes, is that the goings of the plot are rather...close to the canon...not changing much. But there are differences, and since I haven't actually went through the canon stuff ina while it was a nice reminder of stuff. I like the way you write Hikaru and his interactions with the other characters l. Sai is my second favorite character, Akira is in third place, and, like you, Hikaru is in first. When I read the a/n at the end of the chapter about wanting Hikaru to beat everyone(except you know, the rivals that are Touya Meijin and Sai)., I was so giddy because I felt the EXACT same way! I really look forward to the oncoming chapters.

Nah this is stupid. People dont react as if in real life. Hikaru is no longer respectable. To top it off it's only logical that you only progress if you win. Add that tp the fact that in teaching games you win by a bit and not lose then the whole story and shindou physche become unbelievable. Sorry but the story is now shit and im gonna stip
