Read your excerpt on your profile and I really cannot blame you for putting things on hiatus. I came upon your story by chance and I have to say I'm a bit disappointed you didn't get a chance to do more with this. You tell a good story. Your characters have all aged gracefully and it's easy to believe these are the people they have all become.

I'm in complete agreement that true love takes time to develop and that young teenagers usually aren't mature enough to handle lasting relationships. I'm pleased that this story seems to be moving Zuko and Katara's relationship in slow and even awkward stages.

But I'm not pleased to see that it hasn't been updated in nearly two years! Please, finish it? You're so good with character and dialogue that I have to believe that once all the pieces are laid out in order, the seemingly nonsensical quest will be revealed to have plausible underlying reasons, reasons that actually have something to do with a disease that only affects benders-and for that matter, explain why the disease only affects benders! Come on, don't leave us all hanging...

I'm so into, this is a wonderfully written story. you really grasp the concept of writing a romance, you dont rush into it and allow real connection to be made! that's what makes this a wonderful story! i really wish there was more than just nin chapters. /

i am really loving this story, please update soon! i like the slow build to the relationship between zuko and katara and i love how it's incidental to the plot and not so blatant.

This seems to be a story where the romance is slow, but with all the small bits it keeps the reader interested, also things seem to be eventful, which is very good. Enjoyable to read. ;)

Well, I'm going to say that this is a wonderfully written story. And in this chapter was so well done that I started to cry. So, it should definitely be interesting to see what will happen next in the Western Air Temple.

Katara took that much better than I thought, but she seems uncomfortable around Zuko when he complimented her. That should cause some interesting tension!

And despite Hakoda passing, it seems eerily calm. I guess thats because we didn't see it from their perspective.

I guess that will change once they get to the Western Air Temple eh?

If I was Zuko, I would want to be Hakoda - may he rest in peace. Hakoda is a steadfast and selfless man who died for the sake of others. This is the kind of father Zuko never had in Ozai and I hope that he realises that. Hakoda died saving him, when Ozai probably wouldn't spare him a passing glance. This was a beautiful chapter; it makes you think. Can't wait for the next one.

Oh my. Something about handbaskets and unpleasant places applies here. *much moaning and hair pulling* (What happened to my waff? Where has the waff gone?) Just kidding, the story is coming along nicely and is moving in a good direction at a good pace. Can't wait to hear what happened in Amarok. Keep the wheel turing.
