| Guest chapter 1 . 8/28/2017 I found it hard to believe that Edward would go from an cynical cursing rude doctor from Ch 1 to introspective compassionate after one meeting with Bella. It's like you tried to hard to make his character so repulsive so that we can see how much he changed when he meets Bella. Wasn't it unethical for Alice to send Edward Bella's medical records when he is no longer her doctor. I'm not a medical person or ever been in ER but it seemed that Edward was seeing patients that went beyond his duty as an ER surgeon. I imagine that once the emergency is dealt with another doctor/specialist will take over. |
| SF Resident chapter 14 . 8/23/2017 As someone who live in the SF Bay Area, you describe the neighborhoods and UCSF pretty well but there are a lot of small inaccuracies that are driving me crazy and can no longer ignore. Though you probably aren't monitoring this site anymore so doesn't matter. First the story takes place in August (chap 1) and yes its really foggy this time of year. But it does not rain in August (ch 5). Not to say it never ever did but it rarely rains here in August. Bay to Breakers is held in May not in August. Plus the race takes place on Sunday not Wednesday. (Ch. 5) Delfina is in the Mission not in the Castro. Very good restaurant! SF General Hospital straddles the Mission and Potrero Hill neighborhoods. Most people associate SF General as being in Potrero Hill. I know its kinda late to the review party but I just reread Same Time, Next Year (one of my favorites) and thought I read this story. I am guessing you aren't writing fan fiction anymore since your last story was over 7 years ago. |
