This story has all the elements of a great fan fiction. It mentions main canon events but doesn't focus on them. It introduces an OC who is likeable but not perfect. It has the promised ship in it but the events around the ship, from the matches to the high school drama, make it so much more than just a soppy romance and lifts the story to the next level. It features characters who are just names in the canon and gives them life and personalities. It's also absolutely, laugh out loud hilarious. It has all the best parts of day-to-day life of Hogwarts and magic. My quest for a decent Oliver x OC fic has reached an end, but so too has the available chapters for me to read! Please please please pretty please update soon.

In one of your earlier chapters you were concerned they went from enemies to frenemies too fast. I actually think it was perfect - they were forced together in isolation from the others by circumstance, so the change in their relationship and the pace at which it took place made sense. As a reader it's also pretty boring to read endless chapters about two people loathing each other, like we tend to get the image pretty quickly, and we are here to see the relationship develop, which it did. Charlie's insertion into canon events was also well-suited, especially in regards to Quidditch games (e.g., her being ridiculously sick during the match was a great alternative to Harry's dementor attack). I'm also glad she isn't personal best mates with the golden trio, but that they do have a cameo (well, 2/3 do anyway). Anyway, thank you so much for your work so far. I look forward to reading more (although it would also be great if you could finish the story during my lifetime ;) )

Hello! I read all 28 chapters today when I should've been studying for finals instead, but what can I say, this story is addicting! I like your OC's sass. Hope this fic isn't abandoned - seeing how you've been working on it for 7 years, it'd be a shame to stop now! Dont leave us wondering who this mystery guy is! :)
