A great story. Very well written.

This brief vignette captures the heart and soul of a Jedi both struggling and confident, apologetic and bold. The style captures the conversational style of an internal monologue while giving the reader wonderfully crafted phrases. For example, this excellent sentence has power and specificity: "It ate its way into my heart and the holes it left are still there, raw edges like they’d been burned by industrial acid scabbed over and scarred, but not gone." This writer has a great style with a kind of grandeur that suits the subject matter. "We’re all Jedi. The Force speaks to us, and we listen, and we follow the Jedi way. That’s what matters. That’s what people see when they look at me. And that’s worth something." The tone is just right for a Jedi who has struggled. Great job!
