I loved the first 15 or so chapters...things started going downhill when Naruto started telling kids the secrets of sharingan, he then ran naked in the village (an illusion would have made it so much easier), his refusal to prune liabilities (although I don't blame you for it, I misjudged your MC's ideology), and now Naruto is doing everything Itachi would never have done(calling them baachan and ero-sennin...)

By chapter 20 Itachi's personality is pretty much non-existent (that Naruto is actively repressing it is something that made me frown.. for reference ..when Naruto moped about not drinking water given to him by a comrade cz his instincts feared it being poisoned). I understand that you are trying to essentially replace Itachi with Naruto but do try not to erase our favourite Uchiha...

An MC without the ability to show any emotions would have made a great subplot (Id have loved to read how someone as emotional as Naruto would interact with others... his internal conflicts and all that)

Anyway great writing, awesome character growth and a truly unique idea...

This is such an amazing story, and written with such quality, too! I really love how Naruto had to adapt, and the fact that he kind of "merged" with Itachi's personality. Pretty cool! I can't wait until the next chapter!

DANG Naruto's only been Itachi for 48 hours?! So much has happened that poor kid.

Did Sarutobi die? Mikoto seems way to suspicious. . Or, maybe he went into a computer! That'll explain the "not really."

Eh. Fukurou dying is more relieving than sad. She's an OC by this point (now that there's a canon personality for Itachi's girlfriend), so seems like she's more trouble than she's worth. I don't know about clan repercussions, though. .

Poor Sasuke. . And Itachi. Can we go back to the Kage au where 'Itachi' steps up and in a series of political twists reconnects his village to clan? No?

Bah, it was worth a shot. .

Oh. . I forgot about him. See, everyone makes so much hype about Itachi committing the massacre that Madara (or, Obito, but 2009), simply slips into the background. -_-

Lol, I don't think anyone wants you to go back to canon ;) Too traumatizing, and though struggle is good, outright tragedy is depressing more than anything. And you've set up a great AU! Itachi gunning for Kage *-*

I didn't want to read it from the profile: but I have it a chance. It was good, and I'm following it. But itachi's nikenin experience should be harder to brake, I mean it was well earned.
