How is it that I'm only now getting to review this wonderful story?! I really need to get better at that, because I've been enjoying this one greatly. I read your story 'Time After Time' back in the day, and I enjoyed that one considerably as well. Kaiba and Kisara's romance is great, but I'm also really enjoying Ishizu and Ahmed (Mahad)'s growing relationship as well. As a hardcore pleashipper, I'm looking forward to seeing what you have planned for them going forward. Right now, I'm kind of expecting it to be sad, but hopefully there will be some sweet, intimate moments in there as well. I just adore thinking of Mahad in any form as this sweet, genuine guy who just wants to sweep Ishizu off her feet and fix all the broken things in her life. It's just so adorable! Good luck going forward! I can't wait to see what happens next!

Perfect time of the year for a re-read after so long

It makes perfect sense reviewer underneath, and your criticism reads less constructive and more projected. it's clear a great amount of thinking and time went into the writing here.

The plot of this story is a character entering into an arranged marriage to a stranger along with their daunting world. The earlier chapters are a real nuanced point-of-view of being in that predicament and the natural anxieties that it would bring of balancing trying to make it work with a lot at stake. Safe to say being shy isn't one dimensional and having past relationships doesn't mean you'll never be nervous from getting to know a new person in different territory that you're used to, especially in a contrived serious arrangement given here which is what is being expressed.

As for being sly, it's not a wholy unbelievable trait to possess. It's a clear subtle enhancement on the author of this story's part to flesh out kisara's characterization which didn't get thoroughly explored in canon that's needed for a world-building, full-length story like this centred around her.

Your not gonna get anything out of reading if you hold up a story to the little that was in the series. What fanfiction allows for is expansion and set ups of dynamics between characters and potential worlds, whether it portrays what you want will always be a matter of partiality. But for the case of refuting, I'll say that this story has wonderfully managed to fully develop a character given brief time into the modern context of this great story whilst maintaining the basis of the soft, reserved personality established in canon - something too often not translated well.

Why is she so shy if she's not a stranger to men? it really makes no sense she would be blushing around everyone if she had lovers before, if she socialized during is a paradox and it ruins your story. She should be okay with marrying Seto and everything. You clearly didn't think this through. Kisara is everything but SLY.

Just wanna say really miss your story and can't wait for the absolute drama of Seto hiring his fiancee's ex. I think Seto will be a little peeved because honestly Kisara knows his Exs this was something she should have told him before hand so he could get it in his head not to like the guy. Like come on Kisara Be a little helpful. But Seto has always been very professional more than likely xiaoli can stay if he does his job right. Just know Seto will be watching. Lol. I also love seeing Kisara grow from that shy little shaking thing that had entered Seto's life to this confident woman. I would like to say that Seto did all of that, but really Roland, Mokuba, Rebecca, Akari, and Vivian did so much to help her become something close to what the wife of Seto Kaiba, resident hard a$$, should be. Also is that some Mokuba and Rebecca action I see mhmmm? You know I've always had a soft spot for my favorite beta couple thats going through hard times (I'm very much in denial that they broke up) I can sense them getting closer again. Suzu is a nice girl but I feel like Mokuba is going through the motions of dating her while not really being present if that makes sense. To compare we used to see so much of rebecca from mokuba bringing her around but his new girlfriend not so much. Either way heartbreak is coming though for who I'm not sure. Rebecca might not wanna get back with mokuba when he's broken up with Suzu. He hurt her pretty bad. Still can't wait till youre next chapter ! Im doing a second review because I was in university when the chapter can out and couldn't write a long review. my penname is the same ! But take your time with the chapter. Its been a while but I know you wont leave us hanging.

Hey there! I'm back, reading this tale front to back once again! This time, however, I want to note a discrepancy from this chapter, to both the previous chapter 7, and the "renovated" one.

Your revision of chapter 7 in June of 2016 does away with any mention of Gozaburo's death. However, in chapter 8, the original discussion is still referenced to have happened.

Any way, I'm enjoying re-readint your story- it's one of my all time favorites!

It's unbelievable, you've paced the plot slowly but the way you describe things... I really love the way you've portrayed the characters, they feel so real, relatable even. This story makes me feel happy, so thank you. All the changes and modifications in the first chapters were completely worthy.

You make me proud to be a blueshipper! I loooooooooooooove your story. I've always had a peeve about how some writers (not naming anybody) made Kisara a bad ass, which I don't particularly mind but they always made her diss Yugi's group and I have a problem with that. Another reason is the way the just drop their past into the story, maybe it's just me but it feels a bit cringy. Normally I don't like ones like that and jut drop the story but you blended it in so well. You made Kisara shy, but also made her tough and gritty (Rin and Siegfried(?)) which I love. You got the perfect decline for Seto's change in mood, the arguments were great and you blended in the side characters' stories so beautifully. It makes me kinda want to start working on my stories again (which actually need a bit of revisiting). Normally I don't favorite the author/story but you have earned it. Six years? All I can give to that is a very slow hand clap and nod. Also is Akaki Mana?
