I had shivers as I read this... So touching, beautiful and bittersweet...

awe that was just so sweet and brought tears to my eyes. I love the way you incorporated the lines of the poem with a little story for each one. It was just adorable.

Finally! I can review, again! Sam, this was a lovely, and deeply affecting story. The way that you chose to interleave the words of the poem with scenes from the boys' lives brings both the characters and the literary selection to vibrant life. The ending is sad, but they'll carry Jeff and Lucy with them forever, and pass those lessons and memories on to their own children. Beautifully written, thank you!

I loved this though! CC sent me a copy of the poem ages ago, and I remember thinking about how easily applicable it would be with the Tracy family. You did a really great job with this one, my friend. Loved the way that each of the boys got a section to themselves. Plus it focused on Jeff once or twice too, which was nice. The section about Lobo's death was particularly moving.

What an awesome oneshot and very inspiring. it most definitely proves the pooint that what you do affects others. nd the wonderful things that Jeff and Lucy did in their everyday normal lives influenced their children to grow up to be wonderful men because of it.
