Aw I love this!

I really enjoy this one-shot. I love these two guys together anyway, but you capture something deep with this; a sort of turning point with his past, their present, and future colliding. How it goes into the emotions of the Doctor from the tough choices he had to make. It’s very poignant and as a reader I love that Rose is there offering comfort/forgiveness. This just an overall great scene. You’ve written it well.

Beautiful. I particularly love the part where he says: "I never expected to live. And it's almost a wail." I can absolutely see this happening. Because every line of this ff is just SO realistic.
