Come on man! don't leave the cliffhanger here! great story though, I'm personally a little sad at how the Uchiha are put in this, mostly since Madara's my favorite in Naruto xD but otherwise I feel like all the characters are dead on, everyone in the akatsuki especially, Hidan and Kakuzu are hilarious together, and I feel really bad for Kakuzu with how much Hidan keeps scaring him lmao, but yeah please keep it up and update soon!

So Deidara is actually planning on doing an explosion? Hopefully, Hidan won't end up being buried deep in a pile of rubble like in the manga - Kakuzu's heart wouldn't be able to comprehend that and would send him straight to the hospital!
To be honest, I kinda like Suigetsu though I wasn't interested in his relationship with Kisame before - but this chapter changed that, I actually read their part with interest! Good for Kisame to finally realize that Itachi could never become his boyfriend, though he and Suigetsu certainly aren't the best for each other. I kinda want to see how Kimimaru reacts around Kisame and if they could hit it off. But then Suigetsu would be all alone again (althoug he should use the time to sort his life out!). This will become a very interesting dinner party, I'm looking forward to it!
And I really really hope for some KakuHida-action though ;)
They had a very stressful time, they have a lot to talk about (how about those arrythmia attacks Kakuzu is experiencing everytime Hidan does something risky? I can't call that healthy!) and I'm sure they need some relaxing moments together before the shit starts to hit the fan again

OMG, why doesn't this story have more reviews?! I was also pretty shocked that I forgot to review the last chapters - I'm really sorry! You're so awesome that you still keep on writing even though you aren't getting enough responses - really, really sorry for that!
This chapter was quite full of turmoils of emotions - you were right a few chapters ago: The shit is hitting the fan, and wow how it hits it! I need to reread this chapter to really comprehend what just happened, there was so much going on!
I'm kinda worried about Kakuzu's health (and Hidan's mental health, but that's nothing new, actually): it seems like he has some kind of heart problems and I really, really hope that I'm wrong because Kakuzu and Hidan don't need that right now on top of everything else.
I hope that Kakuzu isn't really considering to end things with Hidan, the jashinist would be a wreck afterwards and Kakuzu wouldn't be any better. They should just talk about everything and hopefully, Hidan will listen to Kakuzu and not shut him off when the topic changes to his religion. Which I'm interested in reading about how he came to go to that church. I had thought that after the car accident, Hidan's need in being in touch with his god by doing a ritual was kinda subdued ever since he saw Deidara bleeding out on the street. Well, it lastet a few days (didn't it?), maybe that's all we could have asked for.
The developing...relationship between Tobi and Deidara doesn't look good either and I'm slightly concerned that Dei's idea of having Hidan included in an artpiece with explosive will be mentioned again in the next chapters, hopefully I'm wrong. But since you're so awesome and creative at adding characters and references to the original story into this, I'm sure that Hidan should stay away from Tobi and Deidara for the next few weeks, maybe even months.
I'm actually looking forward to seeing Naruto and Sakura, maybe when they meet Sasuke again - that should be interesting!

As you can see, I'm hoping for a happy ending but I still loove the drama xD Please keep writing, you're doing an awesome job! I can't get enough of Kakuzu and Hidan and their weird, yet somehow kinda functioning dynamic and relationship 3 Plus: cuddling! I love it when they both show that deep inside, they're are huge softies - but only the other knows and sees that side 3

But poor Kakuzu tho, so traumatized after seeing Hidan like that.. I hope Hidan can still manage to convincing Kakuzu to do the ritual together again in the future, but ONLY in proper condition and nobody disturbing them again when doing it. It'll be the most hottest ritualsex they ever experience~ (really want to see it so badly XD )

just finished catching up to chapter 22, you write so well omg. You manage to make all the interactions between the characters very natural and OC as well as this you've got a great sense of humour and the story pacing flows well. like omg the way you manage to bring out the different apsects of Hidan's personality. i wasn't sure what to expect when i clicked on this story but akatsuki does fit the art scene surprisingly well. This is the kind of AU I've been waiting for!
btw I've checked out your illustrations too on tumblr and DA and you're really good! Thank you for your efforts and solid writing

I love how nearly all of the relationships and interactions between the characters from the show make some type of appearance here. Sasuke confronting Danzo, not caring for Karin, calling out Kakashi and the others, I loved it.

You updated! I'm so excited! And also majorly depressed now that I've read it, but it was top fucking quality, as always. I'm really hating Tobi right now, holy shit. And Sasuke, and Shikamaru...

But I loved the use of pet names, obviously! And how Kakuzu opened and closed the car door for Hidan was somehow so in character and sweet that it just made me giddy. I also really love the growing friendship between Kakuzu and Karin, it really compliments both of them.

The way Hidan handles feelings in general in this story, his 'rule' that feelings should be dealt with through actually feeling it and not repressing it is genius. Both as a general rule in life but it also suits Hidan's obnoxious (can't think of a better word rn) personality really really well.

So yeah, great chapter, I absolutely loved it! :D
