The story itself isn't bad but the feelings between Bella and Carlisle are rushed. It may have been five years since they lost their mates but they never really had time to grief, especially Bella since you wrote that she had to push her feelings aside and concentrate on training and getting her daughter back. You should've given her time to go through all the stages of grief when they came back to forks (to be honest they shouldn't have come back at all, if they supposedly lived there for a decade, then were gone for five years, they would look too young). It was all just too abrupt and therefore unbelieve. They met and boom, not a day later Bella's all in love with her new bae. It would be better to give them time to truly grief, get closure from the past, start a new life and then very slowly open to the idea of loving someone like that again. It doesn't matter that she might have felt some attraction to him before or that Carlisle and Edward were alike (to be honest they weren't), if she loved Edward truly then it shouldn't be that easy to jump to loving someone else

Yay for kissy time! BUT, 2 irks...

1) They want to fit in & not stand out? An ER doctor is NOT EVER going to wear stilletos during their shift...just not going to happen...ever.

2) She spends 5 years training (still not sure how or where) to rescue her daughter and avenger her husband, and then within 48-72 hrs, she's in love with Carlisle? Whom she didn't even know was still alive? I get attraction...definitely attraction...and definite closeness due to the fact that they both lost their mates...but falling in love? That's a bit unrealistic. /

But oh well...on to the story. )
