I am so pleasantly surprised by this story. It's like an intelligent conversation about BDSM. I don't have any inside knowledge into the culture at all, so I can't speak to it on that level, but I really love reading about how an intelligent woman who thinks of herself as a feminist works through the seeming cognitive dissonance.

I also really loved the art discussion in this chapter. It's interesting how Magritte seems to make Bella so uncomfortable. He's always been one of my favorite artists precisely because I love how disconcerting his work is. I don't really agree with her view of Le Viol either. I always saw it as making a commentary on the way women are depicted in art.

But I digress, what I really wanted to say is that I am so enjoying your story and I hope that one day you might find the time to complete it!

Very nice work. I am currently working on my Doctorate in Business Administration. I was stuck on finding a topic of interest for my dissertaion so I began surfing the inernet and I saw this title...Now on to chapter 2...
