I really like stories that go in-depth with Kagura's past, it's very interesting to think about. And the hijigin refs are pretty explicit lmao, I find myself laughing at that 'ass' ref.

This is one of my the most favourites stories.
Thank you for making this fic so tragic and sad, I'm quite sick from all funny and romantic Okikagu fics.
I was really enjoying how you wrote the characters, they were really in characters.
I love conversation between Okita and Kagura and his problem with dying, you showed so beautifully they relationship and the scene where they were kissing, it was truly romantic or unromantic and fitted them perfectly.
And this text about being alone at the end of the world, gee I just love it.
As for Gintoki and Hijikata I wasn't looking for any subtext, for me they were just acting like adults having problems with their children.
I was crying at the end because of all this emotions but killing everyone was so freaking god idea.
And thank you for this great music "I will follow you into the dark" became my Okikagu anthem.

You know.. I have to say. It didn't help that my parents were watching a TV show and some kind of sad song was playing downstairs. Right when I was reading the epilouge! Made me feel sad and something around that organ that is responisble for pumping blood.. a bit heavy...

You did a great job! I didn't mind the little GinHiji there. Not quite sure how I feel about Kamui just killing everyone off, but still a great job!

It's sad that everyone died. *upset* But you did a great job at it. I really pity Kagura. It's hard to control something which runs in your blood (her Yato instincts). I hope something like this never happens, and that she will be able to control herself. She did say that her goal was to change, and use her strength to help people.

I loved how everyone died. It was just too fitting the way everything was so poetically wrapped up. How sweet, dark and memorable.

This is my second time reading this actually. I just had to revisit this darkly enchanting fic.
