This is one of my favorite one-shots of all time. Thank you for this gem.

Whenever I read your story, it makes me sad and gloomy. This really makes me glad that we are not immortal... I can't even imagine my life without my family, or friends... And, to live for eternity without no one to share with...

Very well written... It is comparatively short than most stories but gets the point across beautifully. Loved how used Monna as a medium to convey the passage of time..

Definitely one of the best Code Geass fanfictions on this site...

I thought it was good. I would have liked to have some more things explained and I feel like there is another option that Lelouch and C.C. would have taken regarding Lyllie...relocate. I mean they would need to move around what, every ten years? Otherwise people would get suspicious of the couple that never seemed to age. It was very good nonetheless. The last part at the train station really got to me. Good job yet again!

I cried neither times. But it IS very sad. Lelouch and C.C wanted a family, even though they didn't realize it. That's why they endured the painful cat deaths (that sounds EXTREMELY weird.). Then, they got a family. The responsibility of parenthood was forced upon them. They loved Lyllie more than they thought they could. Then, they were forced to abandon their child. It pained them, but it was a required sacrifice. They knew that life wasn't fair; especially eternal life. They experienced happiness for a while, and that's what mattered to them.
That's why I'm not crying. Because they got their wish, even if they had to let it go again.

...So heartbreaking...but wonderfully written! Great job!
