I know you wrote this quite a while ago, but I thought I would leave a reveiw anyway.

Wow, you opened my eyes a little more to the VK universe. I hadn't thought of Kaien seeing Zero as a mirror to himself, or at seeing parts of Haruka in Yuuki's behavior and being upset by it. You brought up a good point at how everyone is ignorant to the real situation except for Kaname and himself. It is interesting to see her growing up in snippets from his point of view, and with how you end with Zero possibly doing the same thing as Kaien, repeating the same sad cycle. Good job exploring this topic!

I really liked this story even though it was a little sad.

Wow, that hurts. A lot. In fact, it kind of feels like a slap in the face. It's a bit crazy, no? I really liked it. The 'But maybe he could babysit their children' line doesn't fit and yet, it's perfect there. Because it could be taken in humor, and against the topic, or with the topic in a serious way. It's kind of like how Kaien is doing the same thing. He's babysitting the children. I really enjoyed this. In fact, I like it so much that I am favoriting it. I don't favorite ANYTHING!

This oneshot was really good! I love the way you went into how Kaien felt as he is not mentioned much in the manga. This story is so cute as well XD

Wow. That last line just about broke my heart. I really love how well you've delved into Kaien's personality, here. His relationship with Juuri is so ambiguous in the manga, but you've really taken all the facts here and knit them together into something logical, emotional, and beautiful. Amazing prose, and such a wonderful soft, ironic tone.

Anyways, awesome story-simply beautiful. :)
