I'm not a brit but I'm pretty sure you just don't call acquaintances by the first name in England, especially if you have a reason to be wary of them so Harry and Daphne calling each other by the first name from the beginning are more than a little weird to me, also all the familiarity and the whole "Five more minutes" banter, is like they are childhood friends, it is what someone no familiar with the source material would think. Why are they so open with each other? Harry is not canonically an open person and after the whole shitshow at the beginning, you would think that Daphne isn't either. The whole scene of their initial interactions makes no sense, Harry should have been panicking and demanding explanations, Daphne should have been wary and tentative while dealing with him

This fic was recommended to me because supposedly Harry and Daphne make up for each other shortcomings but with the unnatural way their interactions are bein dealt with IDK if I'm really interested

Also, a family motto is likely to be written in Latin

Excellent! I enjoyed it very much. I especially liked the long chapters and the story being told from Daphne’s viewpoint seamlessly instead of as a series of awkward flashbacks. Hope to read more of tour work soon.

It’s fucking stupid when authors do that shit. You’ve already made Harry a doormat to Daphne, don’t muck it up anymore than you have.
