What a wonderful story! I love how you portrayed how these two were affected by their actions, and yet they still found love in the end. Exactly how I pictured it.

I loved your story, and I wish you had stretched it out a bit longer! Also, I don't think Kirara would have slept with Katsu until they had established their love for each other. In the end, this is what I would want to see if they ever did an OVA. Kirara and Katsu were made for each other.

It's really good and 'in' character - the best fic I've ever read about Samurai 7! After I finished watching the anime I was really like "What was that, Katsu just left and the end? No scene of coming back or something?" Then I read this fic and it felt right. It should be made an OVA or something!

I like how you've shown the characters' transformations as they grow older, Katsushiro especially. I love reading about dynamic characters, it's always so exciting to see how life impacts people, and not just how people's actions impact life.

I'm so glad you didn't kill them off. They've ben through enough, Samurai 7 has enough angst in it with awesome people like Heihachi, Gorobei, Kiku and Kyuzo dying in tragic ways. I love how Katushiro got Kirara to come with him! SO CUTE! (hugs) thank you for writing such an awesome Samurai 7 fic!

AH! The torment and angst and romance swirled in one! I mourn for the loss of the naive Katsushiro. I loved his character from the first episode. I liked it a lot when he picked flowers. It was cute. And now reading about him talking about rape and how the world is not pretty etc... it breaks my heart. I'm so glad Kirara kissed him! WHOOT! Love your line "I don't think I'm fated to be with a real samurai" I also love how you got KAtushiro to explain his actions to Kirara. So sweet... LOVE YOUR STORY!

Whoa. Ok, the beginning of this chaper, with Katsushiro stalking them because he didn't feel ready to talk to Kirara was kind of sweet in a childish way and also sad in an I-want-to-hug-that-poor-emo-samurai kind of way. And then when the theives attacked adn Katsushiro showed his character changes by totally overkilling, I gaped and wanted to cry and give him a hug. POOR KATSU! Whoa, you ended the chapter perfectly too... I am still loving your fic!

Ah! Sweet angst! Seriously, my heart wretched everytime they yelled at each other. I feel like I'm watching an extended epilouge of the show. Katsushiro yelled at Kirara, telling her how much he gave up for her... (go Katsu! You need to release your pent-up angst!) and Kirara telling him how she gave up being a priestess... and her thinking he won't come back. Both of them saying it was a mistake to see each other again (tears up). Katsushiro being sad that he's wandering around like a monk with no purpose or home... (I liked the little tid bit where Komachi reminds Kirara of how Katsushiro picked a bouquet for her a long time ago... I thought that was sweet when I watched that).

Another great chapter.

Yes! Kirara you must realize your feelings! When Katsushiro told her that he knew she was staring, I laughed. It was an interested scene you wrote when they were talking about his scars... it made me sad in a way, that Katsushiro wasn't that cute naive guy who raved about bushido anymore... :( Still, great stuff so far!

SQuee! Komachi is such an adorable little water priestess! I loved her and Kiko like crazy! I love how she was initially afraid of Katsushiro, but you gradually showed her insight and observation. She saw how nice Katsushiro still was, even though he was 'scary' like Kyuzo-dono, and how Katsushiro is still in love with Kirara :D
