Your writing never ceases to amaze me, honestly, it's amazing. I know saying that doesn't really help you in any way, but I feel you deserve the praise. Whenever people write Bronzeshipping, they write Malik and 'Mariku' as two different people, they write 'Mariku' as a different entity in Malik's mind, but... The, er, concept that is 'Mariku' isn't a being in and of itself, it's a fragmented piece of Malik, something he created out of pain and hatred, but it still is Malik, regardless. The way you wrote it really makes me think, especially the end, where he's 'alternating' between voices. Is 'Mariku' actually a semi-independent thing living in Malik's mind, is 'Mariku' just a personification of rage that Malik created, that Malik doesn't want to believe is himself, or is 'Mariku' something in the middle, or something different entirely? So many questions, and the answers can seem so subjective, especially with fictional pieces...

Wonderful job! Malik's situation is such a catch-22: to kill Mariku would take Malik's hatred, yet Mariku IS Malik's hatred. Stalemate is the perfect word for it! I love this. Also, I'm glad you haven't made Malik a sugary, happy, nice character. Though he isn't a 'dark' like Marik, Malik is cruel and profoundly flawed. I also enjoy how you played upon his fixation with killing the Pharaoh. Malik feels that his life will be perfect if Yami no Yuugi is dead. This of course is completely untrue. Malik's real problems are in his had.
