Wow, one heck of a story you got here. I have no idea what your teachers were talking about when they said you werent detailed enough in your writing. You explain the emotional side of what's going on, something writers rarely do (at least on fanfiction) And it really is refreshing to read. This story was sad at points, but had me laughing at the simple moments when everyone got along, you easily wrote about some many problems other people have in this world and just as easily you explained how to move on from them. Yes, this fanfic did seem like a soap opera at points, and I hate soap operas, but I couldn't stop reading this, so congrats :D I stayed up till about 3 in the morning reading this stroy because I couldn't get enough of it. It was one heck of a rollercoaster ride. Please continue to write more stories.

P.s. If you practice on adding more of what's physicaly going on in your stories, you would probably turn out to be the most epic writer ever. XD

Your story is addictive, well researched and brilliant. I started it in study hall for a brief break and went through it chapter by chapter, pondering how you could plunge each character to the depths of misery and then keep going, without engaging into melodrama. Your writing of Gene, the research into his culture...I am just so impressed with how fascinating and sad you made his background.

In other words, this is the best Armored Adventures story written. Ever.
